Three years later, one ship with 18 men returned, Pigafetta among them. Pigafetta was a close observer and a scrupulous recorder, often writing in his ever-present notebook during the actual occurrence of events. " Since there was never a "published" account of the voyage by any participant . A very nice bookproduction, printed on fine, heavy paper by the esteemed Dutch printing office Joh. Enschede .
