descriptionProfessionally joined and mounted, this 6 leaf wall map of Rotterdam the period of the "Golden Age" wealth. This plan is part of the atlas,"de Vou" with a large coat of arms at top, a 210 cm. river scene at bottom and at both sides a set of (each) 6 etched town views and some smaller coats of arms of this city's notables. Because this map was never commercially exploited, but only presented to inmportant gueasts of the City-Council ,it is a very scarce ,not to say rare, item. (the photo of this item is due to the glass/ frame partly too bright. Ask for a detailed/better picture if you are really interested.
