descriptionAn elegantly dressed hunting party. At front, three man, one on horseback, crossing a stream, the dogs on a leash, armed with pikes and swords, in a mountanous landscape. A very lively scene. Surrounded with an elaborately etched border, giving animals, cornucopiae, guns and two hunters. Underneath the central scene ,the text: Rupis inaccesse cum per iuga frondea cogit Pendentem summa Capream de rupe Venator Casuram Sperans , Glomerato contudit igne A very lively scene. An early and very decorative print by this important Flemish master, so well known for his hunting scenes.
