descriptionA superb, not to say stunning, prospect of the thriving Rotterdam river front, shortly before the city was destroyed. The [now demolished] railway bridge at the left-hand side, steamer-harbour tugs at the bottom, a [then...] impressive skyline. At the centre the so called Witte Huis, for decades the tallest European building!!In short, a magnificent pre-war athmosphere, by a terrific artist, in a great and collectable condition. [Please mind; pictures were taken through the glass]
