Title and 2 Coats of Arms (Leiden town and county Holland) in the sky. 2 impressive Churches and several towers and spires pointing proudly towards the sky. A fine line of trees and a canal at the foreground, with a legendea with 22 numbers on a banner before the trees. A most decorative and detailed print of one of the oldest University cities in the Netherlands. ( house by house, perfect in it's minute details...)Taken from the scarcwe and sought after book of Merian's Germaniae Inferiores.
