conditionA well printed,copy of an exceedingly rare prospect of Rotterdam. Mounted, some creases, partly [skillfully] rebacked. The height was cut down to 44,5 Cm.[!!] Nevertheless, still a majestic, most impressive etching.

descriptionOver 33 smaller and larger ships. An impressive riverfront, every tiny wave, minutely etched, with detailed houses, gates , churches, spires etc. A somewhat maltreated copy of the rarest of the rare prints of Rotterdam as seen from the Maas river.
