This is to be believed THE FIRST ever print of the workshop of an (music) instrumentmaker/ violinbuilder in the Low Countries. Taken from the series " De Boni et Mali Scientia" C. & J. Goodfriend: Catalogue 5, Prints and Drawings of Musical Interest, no. 31. The print gives a somewhat dark peep into the workshop, violins are hanging and laying around, an instrument is fitted with strings by a beard man. On the street people are dancing, fiddling and playing the flute, in all a very merry company.
