descriptionThis fine gouache represents the famous, Spanish Dancer/ performer "La Carmencita" who travelled the Low Countries extensively ,and who was also portrayed by Chris Lebeau, see his famous poster for her. This painting bears the "subtitle "Hommage a G. Rouault" who painted in this manner, with heavy outlined features. Provenance: this fine artwork came from the estate of the well known Dutch artist (sculptor) John Radecker.
